Executive Director

Dear Community Partners,

Thank you for supporting the mission and vision of the Augusta Partnership for Children, Inc. and our commitment to children and families in Augusta. During my time as Executive Director, APC has worked tirelessly to address the many needs of our children and families. Through multiple collaborative efforts, APC has worked with local organizations/agencies and individuals to identify a wide range of resources in an effort to ensure that our community and the families therein are positioned to thrive. We continue to do this important work by focusing our efforts on those indicators (Teen Births & STD’s, 3rd grade Reading Proficiency, Children not attending school, Family Stability, Prescription Drug Abuse and Suicide Awareness & Prevention) that negatively impact youth and families in our community as noted in the “Programs & Strategy” section of this report.

Together with our local partners, supports and our generous donors, we’ve made great strides to create the necessary changes to impact the future.  I’m humbled and honored to lead a team with the dedication, integrity, and long-term vision to achieve the many positive outcomes outlined in this year’s Annual Report.

Although there is still much work to be done and new challenges to face, I am confident that our ongoing efforts, both as individual agencies/organizations and as a collaborative, will continue to make positive strides in our community. To our new supporters and partners, we say “welcome”. Welcome to a network of committed community agents and servant leaders. Most importantly, “welcome” to our shared work.  I look forward to you joining us in these efforts.

Again, thank you for believing in the work of the Augusta Partnership for Children, Inc. as we work together to serve children and families in need.
