  • Family Self-Sufficiency Initiative

    The Family Self Sufficiency Initiative focuses on examining the impact of lack of resources, families not being engaged in all aspects of their children's lives and how living in less than safe conditions have on individuals and the community as a whole and providing solutions.


  • Great Start Georgia

    The Augusta Partnership for Children, Inc. offers two programs under the Great Start Georgia Framework designed to support expectant parents and families of children ages birth to age 5 in Richmond County. These two programs, funded through the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) with funds provided through the Department of Health and Human Services’ Maternal and Child Health Bureau, will further the on-going collaborative effort between APC and its partners to strengthen the maternal and early childhood system in our community.


  • Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program

    Evidence-based Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs are those that have been proven, through rigorous evaluation, to reduce teen pregnancy and/or sexual risk behaviors associated with teen pregnancy. These include sexuality education programs, youth development programs, abstinence education programs, clinic-based programs, and programs based specifically designed for diverse populations and settings.
